The SOP Act defines business days as follows:

Business day means a day that is not –

1. a Saturday or Sunday; or
2. a day that is wholly or partly observed as a public holiday throughout Victoria; or
3. a day during the period commencing on 22 December in any year and ending on 10 January in the following year
